Three Simple Words to Triple Your Dates Plus Three-Step Programs for Men’s Acne

I have a confession to make: I have never read a single word, much less an entire book, in the popular literary genre generally known as “the dating niche”.

While no Hamlets or King Lears have yet been produced in this sector, titles such as “How to Pick Up Any Woman You See” or “Double Your Dating Without Even Getting Out of Bed” seem to abound.

While I have not read a single word of any of these books, as I noted a moment ago, I feel eminently qualified to dismiss them – along with the entire “dating” genre – as hooey, balderdash and twaddle.

There is absolutely no need whatsoever for anyone – even someone who can’t earn a living in any other way – to write an entire book on how to meet women.

There is a simple formula for meeting women and a very simple formula for having a chance to date every woman you meet. Or, should I say every single woman you meet.

If you want to date married women, you have much bigger issues than I can resolve with three simple words.

Okay, so what are the three simple words that can not only give you a chance to date every single woman you meet, but also render worthless and pathetic an entire genre of typing known as “the dating niche”?

“Are you datable?”

That’s it. All you need.

“Are you datable?”

What’s so great about this formula is that it consists of three words, one of which is not even a word.

And yet, every woman in the world – or, at least, any woman that you would want to date – knows exactly what it means.

“Are you datable?”

Admittedly, for dramatic effect, I am stating the formula in its starkest form, and only the truly lionhearted would have the cojones to simply approach a total stranger on the street and say “Are you datable?”

But, anyone who did would have a chance at a date.

For those who favor a less brazen approach, after decades – not years, decades – of research, I recommend: “Excuse me. I think you are very attractive. Are you datable?”

If you can’t pull this off, then you won’t be able to pull off anything else  either, if you know what I mean, so don’t bother spending money on a book or an ebook of clever-sounding come-ons, such as “F-ck me if I’m wrong, but is your name Wilhomena?”

That stuff never works.

So, here it is again. The simple formula.

“Excuse me. I think you are really attractive. Are you datable?” (Feel free to change it up within reasonable limits.)

And, you’re in.

You’ve got a chance at a date.

If you want a guarantee of a date, there are only two formulations that I know of.

1) I’m a billionaire

and

2) I have a gun in my pocket.

The former is hard to say with conviction, if you are like most of us, and the latter can get you in a whole lot of trouble anywhere but Arkansas.

So, now that we have straightened you out on the issue of asking for  a date, what are you going to do if she actually says “yes”.

Show up with acne?

After I gave you the secret formula?

Like hell you will.

Here is another secret formula. Click on one of the banners below and pick up a simple three-step program to make your acne go away. Fast.

‘Cause if you don’t, you will have really blown a great opportunity.

Men’s Acne: There is a Right and a Wrong Way To Treat It At Any Age

Bud 19 150x150 Mens Acne: There is a Right and a Wrong Way To Treat It At Any Age

Alan Stransman

In my most recent post, entitled “The Three Essential Steps in an Effective Acne Control Program for Men”, I related how I first began to suffer from acne problems at the age of fifteen, and how acutely I recall being invited over to a friend’s house to watch basketball on the weekend (I loved basketball, but I also had a crush on my friend’s younger sister) and praying that my face would magically clear up in time, which it never did.

I received an email from a very good friend in response to that post asking how I can remember so many details from my teenage years.

Remember? Who could forget?

Having problems with your skin is traumatic, whether you are fifteen or fifty. Believe me, I know, because I have experienced both.

But the Saturday night basketball games at my friend Michael’s house (and his sister, Fern’s) was just the beginning. Somehow or other, and I really can’t recall how, I found out about a skin doctor in the neighbourhood named Dr. Samu. (Perhaps my mother relaxed her “tough love” standards for a moment and helped me out.) I can still recall exacly where his office was, on the second floor of an old house converted into medical offices on St. Clair Ave. in Toronto, just west of Spadina, on the north side. (The south side is a park where I now walk my dog, Jake, every day.)

I can’t remember what I had for breakfast, but I can certainly remember my appoinments with Dr. Samu, an elderly man with a strong eastern European accent. I remember how he used some kind of instrument – the kind of thing a dentist uses to poke into your teeth  - to did into my face.  I remember the deep, red lesions, and the square, white gauze bandages that he affixed to my face to cover them.

And I remember one particularly nightmarish day when I ran into my cousin Dawn and her (then) boyfriend, (they’ve now been married over 40 years) on the way home, with the horrid white bandages all over my face.

Gee, I wonder how I can remember these things.

It took me years to get rid of the deep red scars that were caused by Dr. Samu’s excavations on my face.

In subsequent posts, I will explain how I did it, but suffice to say, it wasn’t easy.

For now, let me direct you to a very simple three-step acne-control  program developed by Dr. Murad (where were you when I needed you, Dr. Murad!!!!) to help you avoid the horrors that I went through.

There is also a fabulous line of acne products made by Menscience, another company that really gets it when it comes to men’s skincare.

I wish these products had been around when I was a teenager. Thank goodness they are available now.

Men’s Acne: The Three Essential Steps to Prevention

Men’s Acne Usually Begins as a Teen’s Acne

Bud 17 150x150 Mens Acne: The Three Essential Steps to Prevention

Alan Stransman

Let me begin by stating that I am a fifty-eight-year old male, and I first began to experience acne when I was fifteen years-old and in Grade 11.

The reason that I recall the initial onset of acne so clearly is that I was playing for the Junior basketball team at that time, and we used to practise until 6 or 6:30, and by the time I had showered and walked home it was usually 7:30 or even later and I had missed dinner with my family. Since my mother insisted that she was not running an all-night diner, at the age of fifteen I was on my own as far as making dinner was concerned, which was fine by me, and invariably my repast would consist of a hamburger or hot dog and french fries, which I could whip up in a matter of minutes.

But that’s not the reason that I recall my first experience of acne. No, it wasn’t the late basketball practices or the hot dogs and french fries for dinner, it was Fern, the adorable, dark-haired cheerleader. Fern was a year behind me, in Grade 10, and her brother Michael, was a year ahead of me, and one of the best players on the Senior basketball team. There was no real reason for Michael to invite me over to his house to watch college basketball games with him and his friends, but he did, on several occasions, and that is why I have such a clear recollection of the time in my life when I first began to suffer from acne. (I am quite sure that Michael knew that I had a crush on his sister.)

And I mean suffer.

Do I ever remember being invited to come over to Michael (and Fern’s) house on a Saturday night to watch the broadcast of the college basketball games on the local Buffalo channel, and worrying myself sick about the pimples on my face, and praying that they would disappear by Saturday, which they never did.

I didn’t know anything about the causes of acne back then, or how to treat it, and I thought it had something to do with working up a sweat during basketball practice, and eating french fries every night for dinner.

That was over 40 years ago, and I have learned a lot since then, but guess what?

I still have problem skin, and I have to take very good care of it, or I could look just as bad as I did back when I was fifteen. Well, perhaps, not quite, but I am not about to chance it.

What I have learned is that if you have acne-prone skin, which in most cases means that your skin over-produces oil, there are three essential steps that you need to do every day:

1) You need to keep your skin scrupulously clean to remove dirt, oil and bacteria

2) You need to exfoliate your skin to remove the dead skin cells and promote regeneration

3) You need to hydrate your skin so that it does not over-produce oil

And for exiting blemishes, there is an additional essential step:

4) You need to spot treat your existing lesions so that they dry up and heal without causing any scarring

Those are the essential steps in any effective acne control system. Do them consistently and, your acne is virtually guaranteed to dramatically improve.

Taking care of your skin, and controlling acne (notice that I do not use the term “curing acne”) does not have to be difficult or confusing. You just need to be conscientious and consistent.

But, believe me, the benefits are really worth it.

In subsequent posts, I will share the experiences (the nightmares, that is) that I went through trying to find effective acne products when I was younger.

There is no longer any reason to suffer, because effective acne products are simply a click away.

If I didn’t believe in these products, I wouldn’t even think of recommending them.
